Hey there! I’m Meagan, I’ve recently moved to Newcastle after living in Port Macquarie for the last 3 years. I have always enjoyed working in a medical field and do hope to pursue a career as a paramedic. What is the most satisfying part of the job?
Helping patients overcome their fears of the dentist! Once they take that initial step and realise that coming to the dentist is not all bad, seeing their returning faces is a small victory that I work hard for!
What are the challenges?
Choosing a coffee shop along Darby Street! There are too many options!
What’s your best tip for oral hygiene?
Water! Drinking lots of water, especially after coffee or sugary products!

If you didn’t work in a dental clinic, what would you do?
I would work as a Liberian! Knowledge is power so I would absolutely love to constantly learn from everyone and put my knowledge into action!
