Recently we celebrated being open for 3 years, a massive milestone for us. We honestly can’t thank you all enough for supporting us. Our aim has always been to treat friends not patients so we are delighted to have so many friends visit us. We have enjoyed putting a smile on your face and giving you the care you deserve.

We wanted to reach out to you make you aware that as of the 1st April 2020 we will no longer be providing no-gap check-ups at the practice. You can still use your private health fund benefit to pay towards the fee, however we will no longer be covering the gap between the total cost and the health fund contribution.

A combination of increased operating costs and poor rebates from the major health funds have meant this service is financially unviable. We would have loved to have continued our existing system had the playing field not changed with the health funds.

We honestly feel we offer a level of service in dentistry that isn’t matched anywhere else in the Newcastle region. We pride ourselves on providing bespoke, personable treatment in a friendly warm environment.

We are currently always seeking ways of adding value to what we do at The Good Dentist and as we move to offering completely digital dentistry we feel those who choose us are choosing unparalleled treatment.
